Brazing is a welding technique that uses a filler material with a lower melting point than the base material. The process involves applying a welding temperature slightly above the melting point of the filler material to melt it, wetting the surface of the materials to be joined, and then filling the joint gap. The connection is achieved through interdiffusion of elements between the base material and the filler. Brazing has excellent potential in welding dissimilar materials with significant differences in physical and chemical properties.
